Thanking our partners is our way of expressing our appreciation for their efforts to make Precision’s clients successful. We would like to share with you one of those very special partners. We hope you will take time to learn about what makes Cathy unique.

Allow us to introduce to you Cathy Taylor:

Since, Cathy has been a source of creativity for some of Precision’s most proud events, we felt compelled to share with the world what makes her so unique.

Cathy’s love for the art of events and hospitality is in her blood. She grew up with a master chef father, who not only owned a catering company, but also was President Nixon’s private chef. It’s obvious that Cathy was destined to achieve.

After working in the hotel industry for years, her success landed her at the Braves’ Turner Field, where she built their special event sales program and then to the Georgia Aquarium. In 2008 she transitioned to where she is today- at Your Event Solution and expanded their services from corporate to also include social events, weddings and mitzvahs. Not only did she build a good company, but structured her team to be as good as her. Their dedication, diligence and overall kindness reflect who Cathy is as a business owner and a teacher.

Cathy’s passion for the events industry has shown now more than ever. Precision recently jumped on (our favorite) Zoom call to catch up with Cathy. Typically our phone calls involve back and forth brainstorming and innovating until the wheels start turning and we’ve got ourselves a perfect event.  However, this time we were just interested in learning how Cathy’s been managing since COVID-19 struck.

Cathy’s recent focus has been to #SaveWeddings. She explained to us that in Georgia, weddings fell under the same category as restaurants and theaters, preventing and restricting weddings from continuing as planned. By working in conjunction with both Mayor Keisha Bottoms and Governor Brian Kemp, she was involved in a task force that created safety protocols and guidelines for events and venues to adhere to in the time of COVID-19.

Well it’s a good thing Cathy “Saved Weddings” because they are keeping her busy! Since the pandemic, Cathy has booked several weddings in late summer that range anywhere from 10-100 guests. Not to mention her most serious client- her 13 year old son who is planning the hottest birthday party for their pet dog Bolt. It looks like the lineage of art innovators is continuing down the line.

As a true advocate and role model in the industry, we are “Precision Proud” to have Cathy on our side to ensure safety, while also adding the “WOW” to each event. Thank you, Cathy, for continuing to be an outstanding partner and leader for our industry!
